A hairdresser has recently announced they will be charging extra for crying children.

Having experienced my own public humiliation in the wake of a toddler tantrum, I have to ask the question… really????!!!

A we returning to a society where children are to be seen but not heard? And any little ‘chirp’ is considered an indictment on our parenting?

Babies cry because there are emotions and sensations they don’t know how to express with words yet. Period.

It’s time for us to stand together as a community and support mothers, not condemn them.
