Michelle worked as a teacher before establishing Youth Excel in 2000, a charity which delivers life skills education and mentoring programs to state, private and alternative learning schools nationwide. Her work has been featured on The Today Show, Today Tonight and Channel 10 Morning News, as well as countless print media including The Age, The Courier Mail and Dolly magazine. She is a regular contributor to Get Ahead Kids, Prime Time Radio and 96.5fm’s radio segments. As a speaker, Michelle is down to earth, energetic and passionate. She was recently awarded Inspirational Speaker 2013 by the state government. As an author, Michelle has incorporated years of grassroots experience into her book, “What Teenage Girls Don’t Tell their Parents”. Michelle has also authored a series of five life skills programs being utilised by schools nationwide. Michelle’s honest and hope-filled approach has seen her help countless teenagers transition successfully into adulthood. She is a registered teacher and lives with her husband and two teenagers, in Brisbane, Australia.
